RALEIGH ROADS RANKED UNSAFE IN STUDY: If you've been driving around Raleigh recently, you how traffic is increasing. And a surprising new study ranks Raleigh among the national leaders when it comes to the total number of traffic accidents.

The study by Go Safe Labs, a nonprofit based in San Francisco, found that Raleigh had 12,846 accidents in 2019 – a total that ranked it sixth nationally for total accidents.And that was despite a 25 percent decrease in accidents in Raleigh from the year before.
